Secretary’s notes

 

Lots of shows coming up in the next couple of months, and thanks to the 8 volunteers who gave their names this month to man the competition area at SMW in November. I’ll need at least another 7 names  to make sure we have sufficient cover for our commitment.  I won’t be at the October meeting so please call, email or write to me if you intend to volunteer for a slot.

Next months meeting sees a full dress rehearsal for the SMW “support” display. Please work with John to make this a success and give us a chance at “Best Club Display”.  Firstly please send John a short “one liner” about your model, and please also include details of the scale, manufacturer etc so he can complete the catalogue. If you don’t have access to e mail, call him or write– details in the club directory.  John could also do with some help from an Armour modeller on the night to help set out the display.  If you are not able to attend the meeting– please contact another member to take your models along on your behalf.
