We were treated this month to a very well researched and presented talk by Pete Vill. Whilst he joked about being anally retentive, the level of knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject held the clubs attention and certainly opened our eyes about the differences in different boats during their wartime ( and often short) careers. We were also treated to a bonus in German pronunciation of some obscure paint colours from Benedict!Lots of models on the table this month, some of which were newly completed for the SMW 2006 display. Don’t forget to bring your completed models along next month for the dress rehearsal. Lots of new Trumpeter Wyverns in evidence as well so lets see some built please? |
