Help to find a reference - A request from Bill Flook
Can anyone help me please? I discovered in a copy of IPMS UK Magazine of June 1973. In this magazine, Robert C (Bob) Jones wrote an article. Who was then the President of I.P.M.S. UK and the magazine's editor. This article is on the Grumman Avenger in Royal Navy Service 1943 - 1945. At the end of Bob Jones's article, he gives furthers references. One of the references that he gives is "FLIGHT COLOUR print No. 48 shows two TBF - 1B "working up" excellent for detail of forward-firing m/g trough, etc."

Please find attached the scan of the page from The IPMS UK Magazine of June 1973. This gives the references for the Avenger: (Both R.N. / U.S. Variants etc.). Can anyone give me more information on this reference? I do hope that someone can give me some advice on where to search for a copy of Flight Colour print No. 48.

Haggis on the Specials Board at Telford
A special mention goes to IPMS Avon member Jamie Haggo who picked up The IPMS Italy Cup for the best Axis model, along with a further bronze medal for his 1/32 Frank.
Congratulations to Mr Haggo for his well deserved awards!

Peter Mossong pays us a visit

Our very welcome guest at the November club meeting was Peter Mossong of IPMS Auckland. In town for Scale Modelworld at Telford the following weekend, he dropped in at our meeting with his excellent Corsair model which had survived the long flight from NZ!
Enjoy your stay Peter, we hope you have a great time at the show!
